Q2: What was most challenging or raised questions for you?

Q3: Why is it important to understand that Romans 9-11 is not abstract theological speculation about God's sovereignty and human free will, but an attempt to explain how God has been faithful to Israel despite appearances to the contrary?

Q4: What are the dangers in believing, on the one hand, that God's sovereignty effectively cancels out all human freedom...or on the other hand, in believing that God does not have a right to do with us as he wishes?

Action Step: Instead of getting hung up on all the things you don’t understand, celebrate what you do understand: God is on a mission to show everybody mercy.
