Practicing The Sabbath

Mark Whitaker, Jana Whitaker

Sabbath is a core spiritual practice - a weekly rhythm designed by God for rest, worship, delight, and renewal. Typically, a 24-hour period, Sabbath is a day set apart for communion with God and joy in His creation. As such, it serves to reorient our lives around God’s presence and helps us to resist the culture of hurry, exhaustion, and performance.
